Dagmar Dolatschko is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, providing critical services for people who, due to disability, age, or choice, cannot or no longer want to manage their affairs, especially during life transitions.
Peritus & Company, Inc., with a team of experienced, efficient, and empathetic service providers, covers life’s “administrative” tasks for their clients. These range from organizing and simplifying financial and other assets to estate planning assistance, money management, property management, and serving as an agent under power of attorney or trustee. They work closely with estate attorneys, accountants, care teams, realtors, and other professionals.
Dagmar and her team work predominantly with seniors in critical transitions, such as downsizing, reconfiguring living situations after illness, dealing with losing a loved one and managing and planning the last chapters of life.
After running a successful global translation agency for close to 30 years, Dagmar's background in international matters gives her a unique ability and understanding of other cultures and the complexities of international estate matters. She became interested in the fiduciary profession after supporting her parents in Germany toward the end of their lives and managing their affairs. This ranged from hiring caregivers and contractors for home repairs, handling finances, and arranging end-of-life decisions.
Dagmar came to the US in 1988. It was a love story and still is. She and her family moved to Santa Cruz seven years ago after a two-year “detour” through Germany. When she’s not busy supporting her clients, she may be swimming at Cowells Beach, hiking in the Redwoods with their dog, gardening, or enjoying a slow jam fiddle session with friends.
